About

With decades of experience working in the fields of developmental disabilities and brain injury, Michelle Taschereau brings a unique and deeply informed perspective shaped by thousands of conversations with clients, survivors, caregivers, and a wide range of professionals including healthcare providers, counselors, case managers, insurance representatives, and social workers. This broad exposure has offered Michelle valuable insight into the real challenges people face and the untapped opportunities for change. Through this course, she aims to share that knowledge with you in the hope that it creates positive impact, sparks new thinking, and ultimately helps everyone involved feel more seen, supported, and empowered. A dedicated advocate for brain health and equitable support systems, Michelle is passionate about improving care for people of all abilities, whether those differences are from birth, illness, or trauma. She is also a strong advocate for better resources, training, and ongoing support for healthcare providers, recognizing the essential role they play in helping others thrive. Her approach is grounded in compassion, practicality, and a commitment to making meaningful change in everyday lives.
